As the Ultimate Pianist, this must have cause her to feel tons of despair. In Kaede’s case, she was forced to play to a song, a beginners song at that, horribly in front a crowd of thousands. This way, the character being executed can feel despair. it just makes the whole execution even sadder.Īnother thing, as we all know, each execution relates to the character in some shape or form.
This is most likely supposed to represent that Kaede isn’t the blackened and is innocent. especially after learning what actually happened.Īlso, something I learned after watching this execution is that the song Monokuma is playing with Kaede is usually played with black notes, but instead, he’s making her play it in all white notes. Also, the final part where the piano crushed her was just way too much. Kaede’s is one of the most brutal, if not THE brutal execution in all DR games.
Just seeing her lifeless body hang there was honestly very chilling.
